All my life I wanted to be joined. Damos never showed much interest in it. He never liked the idea of having the memories of strangers, not to mention the symbiont itself, inside of him. He went into politics.
I entered the initiate program when I was 16 and was selected. It was difficult but one day they called me into an officer and said that I would be following Bazria Haz around for a while so that she could see if I was worthy. She thought that I was and so when she began to die six months later, the Haz symbiont was removed from her and given to me. I now have the memories of its past five hosts inside of me. Haz is assertive in nature which I sometimes lacked. Joining has helped me in countless ways. It is everything I had heard about, hoped for, and more. Nothing can prepare you for the experience.
Here is some information about my past hosts:
*Adrin Haz: Haz's first host; a painter and family man. He and his beloved wife had six children together.
*Torik Haz: Haz's second host; an able engineer on Trill for his entire life. Not very sociable, never married or had children.
*Helzi Haz: Haz's third host; a scientist who had two children, each by a different husband; widowed once, outlived second.
*Pezra Haz: Haz's fourth host; a politician on Trill and quite the ladies' man. Never had children, never settled down, killed in a bar fight at age 36.
*Bazria Haz: Haz's fifth host; an avid scientist who could not be dragged away from work. Never married or had children due to her work, though it had always been a dream of hers to have a family.
*Tazia Haz: Haz's sixth host; joined nine years ago, accepted into Starfleet Academy, served on Earth after graduation at age 24 and continued services on earth for several years until the Dominion war when relocated to the USS Pennington where she received a promotion to ensign. After the war she was transferred to the USS Patriot as AMO. She is currently single.

Starfleet psychological profile for Cadet Tazia Haz, joined Trill, age 24, service number 914-228. The evaluation went smoothly, she's had no personal traumas in her lifetime by which to scar her and she is able to deal well with those of which her past hosts have suffered. Her mental state was constantly evaluated during her time as an initiate on Trill. From what I've read from them and from my evaluation of her, it is my judgment that she is in good mental health and fit for active duty.

Starfleet Record:
I graduated from the Academy at age 24 then served on Earth for several years, was transferred to the USS Pennington when war with the Dominion was declared where I served as a nurse in Sickbay. After several months I was promoted to the rank of ensign by Captain Jonathan Bates and after the war I was transferred to the USS Patriot as assistant medical officer (AMO).
Personal History: Bazria said this to me before they removed Haz from her: "Taz, remember this. If you have a dream, no matter how many things stand in your way, no matter how difficult things may be, no matter how many excuses you give yourself not to....do whatever it takes to accomplish it. Never loose sight of your dreams. Never loose sight of your dreams." I never forgot that.
